John Kent is the Vice President of Sales, Missions at ICEYE. John joined ICEYE in 2024 and
is responsible for supporting mission opportunities around the world. With a focus on the
Baltic nations and NATO, John brings his extensive defense experience to deliver ICEYE’s
powerful space-based Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities to
government customers.

Prior to joining ICEYE, John was in the United States Air Force where he retired as a
Colonel after more than 28 years of service. He was a command pilot with over 2,100 flying
hours in the F-15C and commanded the 433 Weapons Squadron, the F-15C and F-22
squadron at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. In his last assignment, John served as the
United States Senior Defense official and Defense Attaché to Finland from 2021-2024.
